While we have repeatedly succeeded in controlling difficult and complex infestations that have challenged other reputable companies we have not allowed ourselves to become complacent. In any business it is important to keep ahead of the competition, at Betapest we recognise that we must also keep one step ahead of the pests that we encounter.
Pest adaptation and resistance
Due to their massive reproductive potential and relatively short life-spans, most pests, and insects in particular, have massive evolutionary potential - they can rapidly develop new behaviours, adapt to new habitats and dietary sources and develop resistance to pesticides. These changes in biology and behavior are important driving forces pushing the constant search for new and novel compounds, products and techniques for use in pest control. Betapest is committed to providing the highest level of pest control and in order to achieve this we take advantage of the latest developments and advances and combine these with more conventional techniques to provide an integrated and carefully considered solution whatever the problem.
New arrivals
New exotic pest species are continually being bought into the UK due to increasing international travel and trade. A variety of tropical insects such as pharaoh’s ants and various cockroach species thrive in the warm and sometimes humid environment that our buildings provide. We always tackle such problems in a logical manner and utilize the expertise and experience of both our graduate biologists and one of the UK’s top entomologists to provide us with a positive identification and extra information that is vital in delivering long-term eradication.
